If you would like to be contacted by us, a home improvement professional, a real estate broker, or any other Third Party offering goods or services you are or may be interested in, you are not obliged to provide us with your personal information in order to view SBIF Websites. You might not be able to utilize some or all of the features of the SBIF Sites or Services, and we might not be able to carry out the necessary interaction, if you decide not to submit the requested information. When you contact us via phone, text, or other means, whether offline or online, we might additionally ask for personal information from you, such as in relation to customer surveys.
Voluntarily-Additionally, Third Parties that sell Consumer Requests to SBIF are the source of Provided Personal Information. On the Third Party’s website, the Consumer provides Voluntarily-Provided Personal Information that is then sold to SBIF so that SBIF can fulfill the Consumer’s request by referring the Consumer to a real estate agent or broker, home improvement professional, or other SBIF client.
Personal Information Automatically Collected From Consumers.
Third-Party Data Sources. Third-party data sources, including social networks, government organizations, operating systems and platforms, data brokers, marketing firms, internet service providers, and advertising networks, may provide us with Personal Information.
Real Estate Agents and Home Improvement Professionals. We may obtain Personal Information from our clients, which may include companies and specialists in Home Improvement, manufacturers and dealers of Adult Toys, and Real Estate Agents that you engage with. For instance, if you buy something from a customer that SBIF recommended to you, that customer may provide us with Personal Information about the good or service you bought from them or another Third Party.
Mobile-specific information that we may collect. SBIF gathers data from a customer’s mobile devices, including hardware IDs and device types, the kind of request, your carrier, the customer’s carrier user ID, and the content of the customer’s request. This information does not, by itself, reveal the identity of the customer, but it might be unique or include data that the customer might view as personal.
Phone numbers that can be tracked. On the SBIF Sites or in ads published there, we publish toll-free phone numbers that are uniquely generated and trackable. When a consumer calls one of these numbers, SBIF or a service provider affiliated with SBIF has the right to log the caller’s phone number, the date, time, and duration of the call, as well as the caller’s phone number.
Integrated or appended personal data along with third-party personal data. We may get Personal Information that has been obtained by Third Parties and merge it with the Personal Information that we have gathered. Information about how the consumer uses the SBIF Sites, Third Party websites, devices, and mobile applications, interactions or transactions with car dealers, interests and preferences, and other details about the consumer or the consumer’s household may all be included in the combined information.
Sales Equilibrium. We might receive sales matching data—which includes Personal Information we did not initially give to the partner or other Third Parties—from them or from other Third Parties when we refer a Consumer to one of our partners. The specifics of a product purchase, the purchase price, and/or the purchase date are examples of sales matching data.

SBIF collects Voluntarily Provided Personal Information in order to provide the Services requested by Consumers when they submit Consumer Requests through the Consumer’s use of a feature or service offered by SBIF where the requested service or feature requires the entry of Voluntarily-Provided Personal Information.
We collect Voluntarily-Provided Personal Information on Consumers either directly submitted requests from SBIF Sites or submitted requests through Third Party websites, which we obtained from the Third Parties, voluntarily provided their personal information to a home improvement professional, real estate agent, broker, or other Third Party who can get in touch with the consumer and provide the product, service, or information the consumer has requested or may find interesting, or who can send the consumer advertising, marketing, or content. Customers can visit SBIF Sites directly to submit consumer requests, or they can send consumer requests to us indirectly by making a consumer request on a Third Party website or by selecting links or adverts to SBIF Sites that SBIF has posted or has placed on social media platforms, Third Party websites, or emails that SBIF or Third Parties have sent.
Marketing and Advertising
We use Personal Information to engage in marketing and advertising:
To tell customers about the services we offer and that we believe they might find interesting, or to send customers what we consider to be pertinent advertisements. We employ automatically-collected personal data to provide online behavioral data that may be utilized to produce interest-based advertisements.
SBIF works with advertising networks that may use information gathered through a range of data technologies to provide customization, auditing, research, and reporting for us, our Third Party affiliates, and other advertisers, as well as to improve marketing campaigns. This information is gathered via Third-Party websites and mobile applications in addition to the SBIF Sites. This procedure facilitates the delivery of Interest-Based Advertising by SBIF and Third Parties and aids in monitoring the success of such initiatives. Advertising networks may also utilize this data to gauge the success of their campaigns and identify or forecast the traits and inclinations of the target consumers for their advertisements.
To provide customers services and content that we think are appropriate for a specific area and to personalize marketing to them. We might gather geolocation data from a consumer who utilizes the SBIF Sites. In order to offer the customer content and services that are relevant to a specific location, like advertising, partners that service that location, and/or to customize marketing to the customer for what is available in the customer’s area or close proximity, we may use geolocation information and provide it to Third Parties. When a customer enters a partial address to view a map of the area, for example, geolocation information may or may not reveal the consumer’s precise position, such as GPS data.
Service improvement
We use Personal Information to engage improvement of our Services:
We utilize Data Technologies to differentiate you from other users of our websites and apps (including when you browse third party websites) in order to give you a positive experience when using our services and/or to show you more targeted advertising, including advertising on other websites. SBIF or Third Parties may employ one or more data technologies on the SBIF Sites as well as other websites and mobile applications (which may not be the SBIF Sites). Data technologies can be used to link information about you from many sources, including websites, mobile applications, and devices, as well as to gather information about the web pages you visit and transfer information to or about you. SBIF installs or “sets” SBIF cookies on a device or computer owned by the Consumer when the Consumer visits SBIF Sites. Additionally, we might allow specific Third Parties to place their own cookies on a Consumer’s computer or device, or we might set cookies on a Consumer’s computer or device on behalf of Third Parties that SBIF has allowed.
When you visit SBIF Sites, SBIF uses Third Party tracking services, for which it either installs cookies on your computer or permits the Third Party tracking services to do so, in order to better understand our users and enhance the SBIF Sites. These cookies monitor click-stream activity, page views, and visits. Aggregated data from third-party tracking services is reported to SBIF. SBIF provides our advertisers and other Third Parties with anonymized, aggregated data gathered from these cookies.
We gather the Internet Protocol (IP) address every time you visit SBIF Sites in order to help diagnose issues with our servers, manage the SBIF Sites, and monitor site usage data. Depending on how a consumer accesses the Internet, their IP address may change or remain the same on each visit. We also gather data on whether the consumer arrived at an SBIF site through clicking on a link or advertisement on a Third Party site. This information aids in optimizing our online presence and gaining insight into the preferences of our consumers. We also get data about the consumer’s cell carrier, ISP (internet service provider), and kind of portable device. All of this data is gathered and utilized only in aggregate form; that is, it is added to our database and used to produce statistics about our visitors as a whole rather than reports on specific individuals.
Through the use of data technologies, SBIF employs Google Analytics to gather information in order to improve the consumer experience on SBIF Sites. Although this data is aggregated and collected anonymously, it might contain or be connected to other non-personal information or voluntarily provided personal information. A web analytics tool called Google Analytics is made available by Google, Inc. (“Google”) to assist website owners in understanding how users interact with their sites. We can view a variety of reports about how visitors interact with SBIF Sites so we can improve the SBIF Sites. Google uses first party cookies and IP addresses, and it reports website trends without identifying individual visitors. For more information related to Google Analytics, click here. We may also use third party software to capture our visitors’ website experiences, without seeing the text of anything the visitors type in. We use it to be able to understand how Consumers use the SBIF Sites to improve the user experience. Information collected by third party software is governed by its own privacy policy, which can be found here.
We employ third-party services to record lead consent and automatically encrypt consumer information anytime a consumer visits, enters information into, browses, or otherwise interacts with our website in order to minimize risk and make sure we comply with constantly changing privacy regulations. These services could involve, but are not restricted to, offerings from companies like ActiveProspect and Verisk (previously Jornaya). These services will gather specific data, automatically generate a unique lead identifier linked to every distinct online or application event, and give us verifiable details about the user’s environment. To achieve this, these services might make use of a number of technologies, such as cookies, pixel tags, local storage, session replay, JavaScript, website scripts, and device identification. A consumer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, browser language, and the time and date that they saw the website are just a few examples of the consumer data that may be collected.
When Third Party Terms of Service, Privacy Policies, and Consents to Marketing Calls and Texts Control the Gathering, Utilization, Transfer, or Sharing of Personal Data When a Third Party Gathers Personal Data from a Customer:
When the consumer first gives their personal information to a third party—rather than on an SBIF site—on a third party website.
A consumer will be taken from the SBIF Site they were viewing and routed to the Third Party site when they click on a link to a Third Party site from an SBIF Site, including clicking on an advertisement posted on an SBIF Site.
When we transfer, sell, distribute, or otherwise make available to a third party the personal information of a customer, such as when we sell a customer request to a third party so that the customer can be contacted about the information, goods, or services the customer requested.
When a Third Party is permitted by SBIF to install a cookie or other data technology on an SBIF website.
When SBIF gives a Third Party permission to advertise their goods and services on SBIF Sites in a “framed” format—in which the Third Party’s pages are surrounded by the SBIF border—or by sending users directly to the Third Party’s websites. The Third Party is identifiable clearly in both scenarios.
When a third party collects personal information from a consumer, the third party’s terms of use and privacy policy will control how that third party collects, uses, sells, shares, discloses, and/or transfers that personal information. Furthermore, if your phone number (landline or mobile) is among the Personal Information acquired, the Third Party shall get the Consumer’s consent in accordance with the TCPA. We cannot represent or guarantee that Third Parties will follow the same privacy practices or procedures as SBIF because we have no control over their activities. We also do not accept or assume responsibility for any collection, use, storage, sale, sharing, disclosure, or other transfer of Personal Information by such Third Parties, nor for obtaining your TCPA consent. We advise customers to check the terms of use and privacy policies of any Third Parties they may provide personal information to, or from whom they may obtain information, goods, or services.
IX. SECURITY PROCEDURES AND PRACTICES
In order to safeguard the Personal Information stored in our systems against unauthorized or illegal access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure, SBIF has put in place and is maintaining reasonable administrative, technical, personnel, and physical security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the Personal Information. While SBIF has made every effort to establish dependable and safe networks, servers, and databases that we manage or that are managed on our behalf, no electronic storage or communication mechanism is 100% secure over the Internet. Therefore, even though we work hard to protect your personal information using commercially reasonable means, we cannot guarantee its complete security or that it will not be intercepted, misused, altered, or that it won’t be accessed or disclosed by accident or by unauthorized actions on the part of others.

We will post any updates to our Privacy Policy at this URL, so be sure to visit it frequently to review the most recent version. After being informed of any changes, your continuing use of the SBIF Sites and Services will be taken as your final agreement to any modifications made to this privacy statement. You are always subject to the most recent version of the Privacy Policy and any applicable legal requirements. It is strongly advised that you periodically examine this privacy statement. Any modifications to this privacy statement that significantly impact your rights to your personal information won’t go into effect for 30 days after the website notifies you of them. During that period, you can let us know if you disagree with the changes. You must stop using SBIF Sites right now if you disagree with this modification. After such a thirty-day period, your continuing use of SBIF Sites will be interpreted as your acceptance of these modifications. We will make a good faith effort to notify you of any significant changes that may affect the Personal Information we have already collected from you, and we will provide you with the option to refuse to have your Personal Information used in any way that is permitted by the changes, should we decide to make such changes.
